Rise is formulated around the flavors that Traditional Chinese Medicine associates with the Liver and Gallbladder. Dang Shen (Codonopsis pilosula) is a gentle Qi tonic — the sustainable, farm-grown stand-in for Ren Shen used across our clinical formulas. Nettle leaf (Urtica dioica) brings mineral density, iron, and chlorophyll — a blood-builder traditionally taken at the turn of spring. Yuzu (Citrus junos) is the bright citrus hero, its zest and juice carrying the sour, Liver-associated flavor of the formula. Hawthorn berry and rosehip form the seasonal base shared across the collection. Slow-steeped for four weeks in raw apple cider vinegar and raw wildflower honey.
